About Jocelyn Ucedo REALTOR®
My name is Jocelyn Ucedo and I am a licensed real estate agent in Puerto Rico. (Lic#V3493) with REMAX Metro & Playa in Puerto Rico, covering the east coast areas of Fajardo, Luquillo, Rio Grande and Ceiba. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
I grew up in New York, where I began my professional career in the areas of licensing, international sales and marketing in New York City’s garment center- working for major fashion brand labels. I lived and traveled throughout Europe, prior to settling in the Dominican Republic in 2004. During this time I co-founded a Resort Real Estate company, establishing myself as one of the leading agents in the highly competitive Dominican property market, delivering high-quality service to developers, property managers, ex-pats, snowbirds, and locals alike.
I have now expanded my knowledge and interest in the Puerto Rico Real Estate market while being able to contribute to the island's development and recovery.
Why Real Estate?
I do the work I do because I love it. I like the industry. I like the people I meet.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 2018
The close proximity of the Caribbean islands makes it perfect for island-hopping.
Why Puerto Rico?
After many years of living and traveling overseas, we wanted to secure a home in the U.S. and live in a place that assured us the security and access to healthcare which most underdeveloped countries do not- but we also wanted to continue having a laid-back Caribbean lifestyle, enjoying yearlong warm weather.
As a U.S. Territory, Puerto Rico has this - and some excellent tax breaks too!
If you’re looking for the comforts of home- quality housing, fine dining and recreational opportunities, Puerto Rico offers them! You’ll find plenty of great places to live and do business in. From the California-style beach town of Rincon to historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico offers a variety of excellent towns and communities to suit almost any taste.
